Crafty find of the day!

Happy New Year All! I plan on writing a post about my resolutions and then updating you all year long on how I’m doing with them. For now, let me share with you my craft finds of the day.

I found a great deal on some beaded jewelry kits at Michaels today. They are originally $8.99 but were marked down to $5.00 and then they also were an extra 35% off, which made them $3.99 each. As soon as my camera charges I’ll take a photo of them for you. I am thinking of listing one or two on eBay and using the rest to make some jewelry. I love some of the clearance sales you can get this time of day.
I also picked up a Fiskars Cutting Tool from Costco today. It came with the cutter and a few templates. Quite a deal for $21.99 considering Michaels had the cutter alone for $19.99.

One holiday down, one to go…

I’m so glad Thanksgiving is over. Not for the trouble with family that usually arrives or the travelling, but the eating! Luckily I was so busy on my trip that eating too much was not an issue!

I did manage to do some black friday shopping.  I bought $105.00 worth of beads and earring kits from Michaels for only $65.00.  I’m going to use the kits to make gifts for my children’s teachers and for give aways to bank tellers and other community people as advertisement. I will probably list a few on etsy or on ebay, so stay tuned for that.

Tutu #3… success!

Just a quick post to share with you the third tutu I made.  I like it much better than the first two.  I hope you enjoy it!

I should have been cleaning.

I didn’t do much productive today.  I decided to take this morning as a ‘Me’ day and hit some thrift stores and Wal-mart.  I picked up more tulle at Wal-mart for some more tutus.  I want to make some to sell to local consignment stores.  I hope they buy.  I also scored some rolls of scrapbook stickers at Big Lots.  They were such a good deal that I’m listing some on eBay.
